About the Annapurna Region
The Annapurna Conservation Area offers a staggering range of treks, from the short and family-friendly Poon Hill to the legendary Annapurna Circuit with its Thorong La crossing (5,416m). Dense rhododendron forests, rice-terraced hillsides, Gurung and Thakali villages, the Kali Gandaki (the world's deepest gorge), and a natural amphitheatre of 7,000m+ peaks at the Annapurna Sanctuary make this region suitable for every experience level.
