Nepal's Himalayan landscape splits into distinct trekking regions, each with its own peaks, culture, and trail character. Pick a region to see every trek we run there.

1 trek
Everest Region
Walk in the shadow of the world's highest peak.
Home to Sagarmatha (Mount Everest, 8,848m), the Khumbu is the most iconic trekking destination on Earth. Sherpa villages, ancient monasteries like Tengboche, dramatic glacial moraines, and jaw-dropping high-altitude passes define this region. Whether you aim for Everest Base Camp, the sacred Gokyo Lakes, or the full Three Passes circuit, every trail in the Everest region delivers unforgettable scenery and deep cultural encounters.

17 treks
Annapurna Region
Nepal's most diverse trekking landscape.
The Annapurna Conservation Area offers a staggering range of treks, from the short and family-friendly Poon Hill to the legendary Annapurna Circuit with its Thorong La crossing (5,416m). Dense rhododendron forests, rice-terraced hillsides, Gurung and Thakali villages, the Kali Gandaki (the world's deepest gorge), and a natural amphitheatre of 7,000m+ peaks at the Annapurna Sanctuary make this region suitable for every experience level.

2 treks
Langtang Region
The valley of glaciers, just north of Kathmandu.
Langtang is Nepal's closest major trekking region to Kathmandu, reachable by a single day of driving. It rewards trekkers with soaring glaciers, yak pastures, and authentic Tamang culture rooted in centuries of Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Trails in Langtang are less crowded than Everest or Annapurna, making this an ideal region for those seeking serenity without sacrificing Himalayan grandeur.

1 trek
Manaslu Region
One of Nepal's last true wilderness treks.
A restricted-area circuit around Manaslu (8,163m), the world's eighth-highest mountain. Trails wind through remote Nubri and Tsum valleys, cross the exhilarating Larkya La Pass (5,160m), and pass ancient Tibetan Buddhist villages untouched by mass tourism. A trekking permit and registered guide are required, which keeps trail traffic low and the experience refreshingly pristine.

1 trek
Mustang Region
The forbidden kingdom of the Himalayas.
The arid high plateau of Upper Mustang sits in the rain shadow of the Himalayas, creating a Mars-like lunar landscape utterly unlike anywhere else in Nepal. Once a forbidden kingdom closed to outsiders, Upper Mustang is still a restricted trekking area with a preserved ancient Tibetan Buddhist culture, hidden cave monasteries, and the walled capital Lo Manthang.

3 treks
Pokhara Region
Short hikes on the doorstep of the Himalayas.
Pokhara sits at the edge of the Annapurna range and serves as the launch point for every short hike around the lake, Kaski foothills and nearby districts. Perfect for day trips, 1-3 day mini-treks and travellers with limited time who still want genuine Himalayan views.

1 trek
Dhaulagiri Region
A serious expedition around the world's 7th-highest peak.
The Dhaulagiri region covers Myagdi district and the western massif. Its signature Base Camp circuit is one of the most committing non-technical treks in Nepal, crossing French Pass and Dhampus Pass above 5,000m with almost zero trekker traffic. This is remote, expedition-style terrain.

1 trek
Rara Region
Nepal's pristine western lakeland.
Rara National Park in far-west Mugu district holds Nepal's largest and most pristine high-altitude lake. Reached by flight rather than long overland travel, it is the country's most accessible true wilderness area for gentle walking, photography and nature immersion.
